Saiba quem foi Big Kato e Mental Illness, amigos de 2Pac e Big Syke

Kato (Big Kato) era o melhor amigo de Big Syke e ajudou a financiar o grupo anterior dele, Evil Mind Gangstas, quando Syke era conhecido como Little Psycho. Em 1990, Big Syke fundou o Evil Mind Gangstas com os reppers Domino e Mental Illness (o melhor amigo de Kato).

Big Syke conheceu Tupac em 1992, depois de dropar o álbum do Evil Mind Gangstas All Hell Breakin’ Loose, e daí surgiu a ideia de criarem o grupo Thug Life. Big Syke apresentou Kato e Mental para Tupac.

Em várias músicas de Tupac ele diz, “Remember Kato”. “Big Kato era como meu irmão”, disse Syke. “Ele foi morto por causa meu carro. Tinha rodas Dayton — elas custavam em torno de $20,500 dólares. Eles mataram-no por isso.” Isso aconteceu em Detroit.

Big Syke postou essa foto do Big Kato em seu Instagram homenageando-o e também 2Pac: “My Nigga 2Pac Nigga The Hood Nigga,,,, Big Kato R.I.P !!”

Outro repper com o qual Tupac se tornou amigável através de Syke, também foi morto; e o irmão de Syke se matou. (“Eu acho foi por causa do estresse”, disse Syke.)
